On Sunday, January 5th, Leeds Rhinos Netball is hosting a charity mixed netball tournament at The Edge, University of Leeds, in aid of Leeds Rhinos rugby legend, Rob Burrow.
Rob spent a successful 16-year career playing for Leeds Rhinos and also represented his country during this time. He has recently been diagnosed as having Motor Neurone Disease, a degenerative condition for which there is currently no cure. The Rhinos family is working hard to raise awareness and much-needed funds to assist Rob and his loved ones in dealing with the condition, and Leeds Rhinos Netball is giving its support to this great athlete and worthy cause.
Whether you're a regular or have never picked up a ball before, come along to support this fun event and see what netball is all about while helping to do your bit for our Rhinos legend! Anyone aged 14 and above can register to play, with places for teams and individuals available, in social or competitive sections.
